INTO A PERFCT FREEDOM

Into a perfect freedom

Jesus called the Holy Spirit the Spirit of Truth (John 16:13), which will guide us to all truth. Jesus came to release the captives (Luke 4:18). He send us the Holy Spirit , that we would be released from all the bandages! God wants you to have perfect freedom. Only by knowing the truth one can get perfectly free. "Jesus therefore was saying to those Jews, who had believed in Him, 'If you abide in my word, then you are truly disciples of Mine, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free,' " (John 8:31-32).

Notice, that Jesus was now speaking to those, who already believed in him. They were his disciples, but not perfectly free, yet. Even after a human being has got saved, he still has got many things, from which Lord wants to release him. This kind of things can be greed, different kinds of lusts, gossip, talking bad of your neighbor, accusing , lying etc. Who or what is this truth, which can make one fully free? Jesus himself said: "I am the way, and the truth and the life.."(John 14:6) The truth is the word of God and also Jesus Christ! John writes: ""And the word became flesh.." (John 1:14) . This word which became flesh is Jesus!

Jesus spoke about knowing the truth. He didn't mean to know it in theory, but to
Know it like you know a person. It is totally different thing to know who Jesus is, than to know Him. From the word of God we may get really much knowledge of Jesus, how He was like, what did He do, what does he want etc… It is good to know all of this, of course, but it can never replace your personal contact with Jesus.

Every Christian should understand that only the Holy Spirit can glorify Jesus for us. Jesus said :"He (the Holy Spirit) shall glorify me," (John 16:14). The Holy Spirit is eagerly looking forward to glorify Jesus for you. The Spirit wants to reveal you the full truth, which can make you free. Each one of us has certainly found out areas and things in our our life, where we need to get free. Many of us have certainly tried out to convert and make us free. You can ask the Holy Spirit to come to your help, and He will help you! You don't need to try in your own power. When the Holy Spirit comes to your life, all the supernatural power of God is available in your life. The presence of the Holy Ghost will glorify the eternal truth of the word of God. The Spirit will reveal Jesus for you. You will know the truth and it will make you free! When you read the Bible, ask for the Holy Spirit read it with you and glorify the meaning of the word.

The Holy Spirit will point you Jesus

When I was a small boy, my father bought me very own Bible. It meant very much for me. I read Bible very young and I got a plenty of knowledge of Jesus. Because of this I thought I knew Jesus very well. When the Holy Spirit came to my life, He started to make Jesus more and more real for me. Bible promises "But the path of a righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day" (Proverbs 4:18). And so Holy Spirit will glorify Jesus for us more and more. A human being may for example know that Jesus can heal, but is still sick because he doesn't know Jesus as his Personal Healer. This same rule works out in many other areas in our lives. It is impossible to learn to know Jesus without the Holy Spirit and his presence.

You can learn to know Jesus closer. Unfortunately for many of us He is just a Saviour. It is good to know Him as your Saviour, but in fact Jesus is much, much more than only that. The Holy Spirit may help you in this, if you just want. You must take the first step and ask him to glorify Jesus to you such as He is. You will be the sweet aroma of Jesus only as much as you know him. "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in His triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet arom of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.,"(2.Cor.2:14-15). Knowing of Jesus is a good fragrance. It smell better than perfumes of Paris. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit You will smell Jesus overall. Jesus is an example for us. When the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus for us we become more and more like him.

Certainly all of us want to act in the name of Jesus. We want to use the heavenly authority of His name. Many have even tried to act in the name of Jesus but only according to literal knowledge. This has brought so many back stages and unsure ness in their ministry. You may act only as much as you know Jesus. How else could we explain the sentence: "..because as He is, so also are we in this world," (1. Joh. 4:17). We know, that once we go to heaven, every thing that is unperfected will be finished. But you may change and grow up more like Jesus even in this world! We can get the same, wonderful, unlimited anointing, that our Lord Jesus had. We may do same things he did, and even bigger. "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to the Father," (John 14:12)

Stephen was full of mercy and power of the Holy Spirit. He made great miracles and signs among the people (Acts 6:8). Peter was so filled with the Holy Spirit that people got healed even when his shadow touched them (Acts 5:15). I think Reinhard Bonnke found the right words when he taught us about God's maximalities. "Once in heaven I don't want to hear that I used only 5 % of those 100% possibilities which were available for me!" Why should we satisfy with the minimum of God, when we can catch the maximum of God - those great promises of God! The Holy Spirit wants to guide you to receive and experience the great blessings of God. You may be a blessing to others only as much as God has had a chance to bless you.
